Software and hardware engineering is a core competency that cuts across the organization, with practitioners geographically dispersed and working in various domains.

TCI’s engineers design, develop, integrate, and implement solutions to meet requirements. Products may take the form of software (applications or systems), integrated software and systems, enterprise architecture (EA) models, integrated hardware, technical documentation, models, schematics, or interfaces. The products are made up of customized and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components that are then integrated. TCI applies sound product engineering techniques to reduce risks while providing lifecycle engineering support for assigned items.

TCI provides technical support for the development and sustainment of net-centric IT systems using advanced technical concepts such as service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Systems Engineering Lifecycle methodology (SELC).
